Hi, I’m Tom

I live with my wife and boys in Richmond BC. I am a foodie and self proclaimed wine snob. As a matter of fact, my wife and I met at a wine tasting. Back in a previous life I was a wedding DJ; I have very good music knowledge – feel free to challenge me:-) I have many years in the wedding industry even before developing a passion for photography. My personality is service focused and I live and die to bring joy to people’s lives.

Photography is the confluence of art and science.

My technical background and acumen assists me delivering stunning artwork for my clients to enjoy for generations. I am proud of the glowing reviews I have received which echoes my customer first ideology.
I am very comfortable in front of crowds, getting people to loosen up and laugh out loud! Keep in mind, my camera is focused on the fun!

Yes, I always deliver a professional, timeless photo gallery with natural skin tones but what is different with me is that my ideal clients are free spirited and love to laugh and joke around. If you are looking for heavily posed, dark and dreary wedding photos, I’m probably not the guy for you. However, If you are looking for a charismatic, funny professional photographer, please get in touch!

My Approach

I am obsessed with customer service. My reviews will confirm that I go to the end of the earth for my clients. Starting from your initial inquiry to chatting on text then jumping on a phone or zoom call. I’ll use my extensive experience to guide you through the process so you will be put at ease so you can focus on other parts of your wedding experience.

I have a knack for bringing out the laughter and joy in people. Maybe its my fluency in sarcasm or my fun, natural posing techniques.

To ensure we are all on the same page, we will fill out a wedding day for outlining the itinerary and expectations; nothing will be left to chance. The Monday before your event, I’ll set up a text chat group with us and other vendors like the videographer and the wedding planner.

Tom has been a dream to work with, I could not speak more highly of him. Me and my fiancé just had our engagement shoot and I could not be more happy with Tom and his work. Tom is amazing! We were slightly nervous about a professional photo shoot but Tom made my fiancé and I so comfortable and at ease it was the most enjoyable part of our wedding journey so far. And the photos were incredible - his eye for setting and poses was brilliant.We are so looking forward to having Tom at our wedding as as a professional photographer, but also as a person.

Both Tom and Yashar were such a joy to work with. Our wedding guests were boasting how much they enjoyed watching and interacting with the two of them. Very easy to connect with and make you feel very comfortable being in front of a camera. Would definitely recommend!

Tom did a great job. We used him for our maternity photos (3 locations: the forest, a park and a beach, he accommodated multiple locations). And then we used him again for our first family Christmas photos (in a park again, his idea) and they turned out great!!!

Tom photographed my wedding back in October. He was everything my husband and I were looking for - friendly, good quality, and through. The shots he got were amazing and he was wonderful to work with, managing to capture both casual mingling shots plus the posed wedding party images. He was a delight to work with and I cannot recommend him enough. Very approachable and professional!

Tom took our surprise engagement photos in Gas Town this past weekend. He was such a friendly guy and made us feel comfortable during our session. Pre-Wedding Consultation. In-person or video conference
Number of Photos – Approximately 100 finalized photos per hour of filming
Delivery – Photos delivered as high resolution JPEG ( approx. 6000×4000 px) with no watermarks
Delivery Method – Photos delivered by OneDrive
Sneak Peak Photos – A handful of photos are finalized and delivered within a few days of your event. The rest will take a few weeks.
